I've seen this new location for two occasions when I was traveling for this area and idea that would be as a great time to use this out for supper as we were very at loss concerning where we shouldgo for supper. The i Eat includes a extremely interesting concept for the reason that it really is blatantly nyonya but uses contemporary concepts for it's decoration such as the usage of laminated plastic traditional style design because of its main door. As soon as you step in, the area is pleasurable and the waiter quite friendly. As there have been 3 folks, we decided to choose the traditional nyonya meals served with whitened rice. We'd the curry poultry kapitan, the otak otak, mix fried sambal brinjals and sar pou tofu. The curry chicken kapitan was really delicious and the curry itself flavourful. The otak otak had been sumptuous to say minimal, the portion was furthermore pretty generous. The mix fry sambal brinjals has been hook let down since it had been a tad as well oily for the liking. Nevertheless, the sar pou tofu managed to get up. Again, it had been very well-prepared and the make-up of the tofu with the many types of veggies and sea-meals blended in very properly to provide this aromatic taste that was very pleasing to your taste buds. The black coffee cold didn't come across well when i had ordered it "thick" nonetheless it was not around expectations. The chinese tea has been fine but the greatest had been the sparkling Ribena which tasted excellent and no, we didn't think it originated from a pre-bottled sparkling Ribena. The soda has been very good which was to your liking. Overall, for 3 folks with the aforementioned orders it found a complete bill of RM54.40 which again we thought was affordable.

This can be a small homely restaurant situated on the floor floor of a apartment complex called Summerton, that is opposite the Gold Coast Apartments rather than definately not the Queensbay retail center. They serve a number of food from noodles, rice dishes to nyonya dishes, teochew style and fusion food. I particularly just like the mee bandung, chicken chop, assam prawns and otak-otak. The menu differs slightly from daily especially on weekends. Prices are reasonable, and when you can know the dog owner (who's also the principle cook), you can buy seafood from your own supplier and obtain it cooked at the restaurant. I've tried that on 2 different occasions and discover the resulting seafood dishes delectable and cheaper than most restaurants' selling price for exactly the same dishes. The curry chicken kapitan can be good, as may be the fish cooked assam pedas (sour and spicy). Parking can be acquired across the service road which lines the apartment complex, in addition to in a covered parking lot across the block, that is operated by ticketing machines.

We've had two dinners at I Eat and both times the meals was fresh and tasty, especially the fish in the Assam tumis, and the petai bean dish. The bill was 60 ringgit for three dishes plus rice and drinks for just two people. The staffare very friendly. The restaurant is in a newish shopping strip among assorted chains and franchises which really is a bit off putting but we're very glad we made a decision to give it a try. I definitely recommend this restaurant, particularly if you are considering somewhere good to consume in Queensbay.

Good nyonya dishes and also have varieties that not commonly served in other nyonya restaurants. Highly recommended!

We prefer to enjoy especially their value-added lunch sets, which are actually tasty traditional Baba-Nonya foods. The purchase price is fair plus they add a homemade drink for everybody.

Dinner here is pretty good but quality could possibly be inconsistent. The otak-otak is fresh and good however the omelette I had was overly salty. When I told the waitress, she mumbled something about ‘tasting the edges of the egg as the cook may not havedistributed the salt properly’. I had no intention of finishing the egg so we left it. The kampung fried rice is hot and spicy so beware, despite what the waitress lets you know. Overall it really is still an excellent eat for a few nyonya cooking.
