For my husband, its childhood memories. Many individuals recommended this place, therefore he provide me to flavor the kway chap. But, not my taste, very salty foods. Actually my husband said so. And the purchase price, its expensive. For individuals who like heavy taste, might have a try.

Another aged establishment that I were able to visit during Batu Pahat was probably the most popular kwai chap invest Batu Pahat. After completing my conference in JB, I drove up north back again to BP and timed my trip to reach the city around noontime. My trusted Waze introduced my right to the restaurant. On the same ground, they share exactly the same building because Batu Pahat's Rubber Sellers Association. They don't really allow interior seating at that time (I didn't inquire, but probably due to MCO) therefore i had to order at that moment where they required my order and paid the expenses before taking my chair across the corridor outside. Fortunate for me personally.. it wasn't that very hot & stuffy that day. WHEN I was Hans Solo that time... I couldn't order very much: ◾Kwai chap - silky clean square rice linens doused with gentle and aromatic natural soup. Love their small contact by topping with fried garlic which managed to get tasted better. ◾Braised meat - many kind of meats available, sometimes spare parts. I proceeded to go for his or her pork belly, pork pores and skin and braised egg. Do not forget to dip into the provided chilly sauce. Very good I'd say. ◾Fried springtime roll - not the very best but definitely above typical. ◾Salted vegetable Note: there is a truck outdoors selling crackers manufactured from tapioca, potato among others... Quite good if you love, just buy.
