My child and and We made the error of visiting this "eating place" inside Penang. I purchased Beef and inquired for slight, not spicy. My boy purchased malaysian fried rice. We waited for at the very least one hour before our meals arrived. My son's food was servedon a little plastic material plate; the rice hardly protected the plate and the flavor has been watery and bland. My initial mouthful contained a big corner of plastic, that i was lucky never to choke on, at the very least three full natural chilli's and the 'beef' was actually horse, that was all gristle, since this is exactly what is advertised beyond your restaurant, we uncovered later. Whenever we complained, we had been informed that the cook hadn't comprehended 'not spicy' and the supervisor/waiter rudely retorted "this is simply not a 5 star hotel". There is no apology concerning the plastic plus they tried to cost us 48 ringgits for the privilege. This place ought to be closed down as a health hazard, and presumably only continues to use because it is situated in the primary tourist area opposite the Hard Rock hotel and just down from the Bayview Beach and Parkroyal hotels where unwitting travellers whose first foray into 'local' food was created to be a rip-off. We've subsequently enjoyed fabulous foods at Family room cafe and at Enca's that is almost nearby to Sluggish Rock and serves tasty food at a 3rd of the price. Usually do not patronise Slow Rock under any kind of circumstances. You have already been warned!

Food sucks not forgetting the services! I exchanged terms with the dog owner who think he's got the best cafe! They rip you off correct under your nasal area. RM 7 for a lousy burger? I proceeded to go there with my children for breakfast, the dog owner wasbusy singing and ignore us. As soon as we got a hike he place an agreeable face with sarcastic phrases. As of this juncture I dropped my patience and even told him off. You should avoid this robber, let you know families and friends. They're located right before Hard Rock Resort Penang!

Had my supper at the slow rock cafe (opposite the true hard rock cafe) at Batu Ferringhi. Menus is incredibly non descriptive eg. Nasi Goreng Gradual Rock, Char Kway Tiao Large Rock.. Appears like the chefs will decide exactly what will become on the plate. Pricesare almost just like the real tough rock cafe and meals tasted very average. Not really recommended.

After tired of looking for char kuey tiaw (famous local food in penang) from ferringhi to gurney drive to georgetown and back to ferringhi, we'd decided to simply order dinner from hotel. Luckily whenever we nearly to enter tough rock resort (westayed at difficult rock hotel) my hubby noticed that there have been a cafe not far from (about 150 meters from HRH, going to teluk bahang). We parked our vehicle in HRH and stroll to the cafe. Both folks ordered particular char kuey tiaw, it had been RM 15 per plate. Probably the most costly char kueytiaw we ever endured:p It wasss delicioussss, was included with beef meat, poultry, prawn and squid, not really forgot egg. Its worthwhile. We suggested this cafe because of their exclusive char kuey tiaw! :)

I agreed the purchase price is overpriced but truly worthwhile specifically the slow rock tomyam. Offered in coconut. I attempted this dish in Thaliand before rather than thought gonna eat once again in Malaysia. I dont brain paying additional if the meals is great. Definitely willcome again.

Street Restaurant, situated in front of the Hard Rock Resort. Extremely costly for the sort / quality of the meals. I can't say that the meals was bad but also for the same cost or cheaper you can find better choices in Batu Ferringhi. We aretalking in regards to a restaurant practically without the conditions (kitchen), inadequate quality service (plastic meals, etc.) Not worth the purchase price!!!

Lazy Sunday inside Penang searching for something informal for lunch on view air from the seaside. Soft Rock was ideal across from the bus end so that it was as great a selection as any here. We ordered poultry satay (excellent), pineapple rice(very normal), beef curry (just typical) and mango lhassi (mmm, uncertain what it was we'd) In short, the meals was poor to regular apart from the chicken satay. In potential I'd possess the satay and miss the rest, or probably visit a different place. Oh and the support was near non-existent.

If you want great honest Malay food this location is awesome. We'd breakfast here for 5 days whilst residing at the Bayview. The Roti Canai is the greatest and don't go at night lassi's. The employees are actually lovely. Great cheap small local restaurantdefinitely worthy of visiting. I usually think it is possible to judge a location with just how many locals dine there plus they certainly love this location like we did.

It based on what your ordered. Satay not really what you will anticipate and Nasi goreng had been ok. It really is expensive maybe because of tourist places rather than much other options you should have along batu feringgi if you don't desire to walk further later on.
