We were taken up to this restaurant whenever we were on a journey to the west and north of Penang by our driver Jimmy Chu who provides excellent tours his amount is 012 4857718 and we'd recommend him, he could be extremely informative and speaks goodEnglish. He got us to the restaurant where we'd many of the most delicious foods we'd tasted on the island. We'd an assortment of reddish colored snapper, prawn curry that contains probably the most huge and fresh prawns we've had and a bowl of vegetables done within an oyster sauce with beers for a complete of 112MYR. This place will probably be worth searching for in case you are in Balik Pulau, it really is rustic like so many places but includes a large seating area, an excellent atmosphere and you will watch the chef prepare the meals, it really is well frequented by locals that is no surprise. We'd return anytime to the place. 5 of 5 stars Value 5 of 5 stars Service This review may be the subjective opinion of a website member rather than of website LLC https://www.website.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g3522354-r357190886-Balik_Pulau_Penang_Island_Penang.html#

On a trip to the Penang island, my old classmates took me for a trip to Balid Pulau. We halted at the fist marketplace in Pulau Betong, not really far from the biggest market of town. We found seafood and shrimp, and delivered it to thisrestaurant, a brief walk away (in regards to a hundred yards) to the restaurant. We questioned the chef to get ready a curry seafood, assam shrimp (lovely and sour shrimps), drunken shrimps, and a bowl of house green veggies. We all had the neighborhood nutmeg ice drinks. The meal arrived great. It had been a memorable food. The chef.proprietor charged us RM45 for the food preparation and drinks. We invested about RM50 at the seafood market, so altogether, a good dinner for under RM100. I will be heading back to the restaurant again.

Place could be a bit warm or even hot. Food is great and cost is reasonable. Need to wait some time for food. Folks are friendly too.
