Had a good lunch there and made a decision to write the review on this location but couldn’t think it is on website. So made a decision to increase this place. Good to function as first reviewer for this. We were staying nearby in Teluk Kumbar and decided todrive around Balik Pulau for lunch time. Knowing Balik Pulau will be famous for Laksa, made the decision to search for one. We probabilities upon this small store opposite the large carpark and made a decision to have lunch time there. Small family company, friendly assistance. We ordered the standard laksa and the lemak laksa.. both tasted great. Tried the steam brownish sugars bun and my partner finished it. Tasted excellent she says. they market rice with dishes as well but we didn't try that. There are numerous places selling laksa in BP, that one is worth a go.

My hubby and I really like arriving at this rustic village cafe inside Balik Pulau city to possess lunch. This small diner acts Hakka delights which range from noodles to rice products. Not merely can one like a tasty plate of Laksa Lemak (rice noodles in afish broth of wealthy coconut cream) or a genuine Laksa Assam (rice noodles in a tamarind centered fish broth). If you would like something different a bowl of homemade Hakka noodles with a fifty percent boiled egg minced pork with tofu or perhaps a bowl of Tomyam or simple Otak Otak rolls will excite your palate. Rice lovers can have a look at their Hakka Rice that is served with exactly the same condiments as their noodles or perhaps a switch of Rice Porridge of one's choice! Chicken enthusiasts will die for his or her Belachan Chicken. The proprietors will spoil their clients with self services squirt bottles of Har Koh (Nice Prawn Sauce) or perhaps a selection of their tangy home made chilli sauce. On a very hot day a plate of ice kacang or perhaps a fresh Nutmeg Fruit juice will awesome you down. This is a much better and cleaner spot to enjoy your food than the some other neighbouring Kopi Tiams!

Came here rather past due around 5pm and another famous laksa stalls have closed. Experienced the Siam laksa aka laksa lemak. It's very good I must state. I love it because soup tasted perfectly for me personally. Not too greatly flavoured like some. Stability wellwith the noodles and garnishing. I completed everything to the final drop of soup. Furthermore had the nutmeg fruit juice. It had been ok. I still choose the freshly juiced types offered at Kim's laksa opposite. Wished to attempt their hakka noodle but as well bad they will have sold out. Will need to take a look next trip back.

The staff are friendly and the service is quick and food is inexpensive. Without spectacular, we were happy for what it had been. Do not forget to check the back eating hall as there are a few interesting Hakka photo possibilities. Just opposite the eating place, there's alsoa famous road mural for more picture opportunities.

Balik Pulau is really a unique location with great eateries and one of these is Ko Cha Bi this means "Traditional Flavors" inside the Hokkien dialect. Returning to Penang we have to give it a try. Ordered rice porridge with pulled poultry and rice sticksand their popular homemade Hakka noodles with floor pork and tofu rather than forgetting their Tomyam and Otak rolls. As constantly the meal is delicious and their homemade chili sauce for the rolls would be to die for. This is a must spot to eat for individuals who visit Balik Pulau!
Cafe Ko Cha Bi is located at 110, Jalan Besar, Balik Pulau, Penang Island 11000 Malaysia. This is a Asia restaurant near the Balik Pulau. This restaurant is very popular and has a good reputation. Many food bloggers also visit this restaurant to make mukbang.
