We came here after going to the Melaka Butterfly and Reptile Sanctuary, on the suggestions of website and Search engines Maps. Surprised to note that it was never crowded during lunchtime. Service was just a little slow. But individuals were friendly and we'd anice chat while looking forward to the food. We purchased their signature Peranankan meals, and Seafood and Chips for the kids. Loved the babi (or was it poultry?) pongteh. Assam seafood was a touch too spicy for me. Seafood and chips were okay. Overall a good meal.

i understand this place had blended reviews but was going to the butterfly park close by so simply felt like popping by to use this place out. my verdict? nyummm!!! had doubts when we walked in during lunch time hour and only one 1 table has been occupied. proceeded toorder anyways (n was happy i did so!) btw, when i was looking forward to my order more visitors came so be confident. what i ordered & remarks: - chicken pongteh; really chinese taste. could flavor the ginger n pepper bottom however, not too strong. great portions too. my purchase came with 3 bits of chicken n rice. - chicken salad; once again, unbeatable part. this had meals size chicken part grilled n offered atop fresh new lettuce n tomatoes. not really excellent if ur on an eating plan, but compared to small slivers of poultry hidden among leaves typical in various other salad servings that one is certainly various! it can actually be considered a meal all alone. n excellent if ur on the run n desire to skip carbs. - chicken parmigiano; problem, i could see they simply stuck a bit of sliced cheese atop their poultry which turned me away from a bit. however when we took a bite we had been pleasantly suprised coz the sauce in the bottom had not been ur typical dark pepper/ mushroom sauce. hard work was produced n it had been a tomato structured sauce that has been really delicious. therefore the dish actually arrived good (sliced cheese apart) - spaghetti seafood; it was included with 5 mussels!!! like huge types! that alone managed to get worthwhile. the taste was common but 5 mussels for that price? win! all in all i'd say if ur searching for 5 superstar chef quality? okay this is simply not it. but method above average worthy of the purchase price food ? pls mind right here. esp if ur searching for something different during melaka. after eating therefore many therefore called 'western' stores that offer bland pasta n from the freezer poultry chop, this location is a welcome distinction! thumbs up! ps- sorry zero pics. was too starving n dug in just before i possibly could snap some. the next time!

I came due to many good suggestions i found in the web, but i was very disappointed. The meals served was cool (except carbonara we purchased for the youngsters). I understand it could have been prepared previous, but a little bit of reheating will do. Themost disappointing part was that the asam tetel (asam pedas daging) we ordered had hardly any meat, but mostly simply fat. Hope can improve.

Being a Penangite that are usually fussy about foods plus regardless of the mix reviews, We still proceeded to go there with my children. We purchased Nyonya Laksa that was tasteful, Lamb Chop with generous quantity of dark pepper sauce which my girl likes it and for myselfthe Asam Pedas that was just average. Great place, nice and clear. Service and staff can be ok. Price is somewhat above average.

We ordered asam pedas rice collection, laksa nyonya ,ayam pongteh roce place. for asam pedas , flavor of tomato overpowered everything. Therefore sour . please improve . for laksa nyonya, flavor like herbal soup. It had been nothing like laksa nyonya we ate at additional placewhich tasted like masak lemak. we dont know very well what the original flavor of laksa nyonya ayam pongteh may be the okay-est. tasted like masak kicap .chicken has been soft .

The place is at vicinity of other eateries which means this is one of several choices available. They offer the typical fare of fusion meals all reasonably priced. The area is clear but could perform with some decor. Tried their nyonya laksa. Pretty good. Nothingspectacular but a secure eat; taste and cost. Worth a go, at least once.
