Best Kambing in town!
This time around, the Yummy Advisor team was blessed with lamb goodness. If you are a fan of lambs, this place is definitely for you! Located in MAEPS Serdang, this huge spacious eatery is a perfect place for all lamb lovers. These are the arrays of sample dishes that our team tried out. From the picture itself, you can already tell they are the real deal!
This Kambing Crispy menu definitely knocked our socks off! The lamb was fried to crispy perfection and lightly coated with a spicy dredge. At first glance, we thought the lamb would be dry and tough. However, we were proven wrong as we had our first bite! It was crunchy on the outside yet juicy and tender on the inside. It was also surprisingly light and not greasy at all despite being deep-fried. Served on a bed of lightly salted fries with sweet chilli sauce on the side, this Kambing Crispy is no doubt a winner! You should try this one out if you love spicy food.
Moving on, House of Kambing recommended Nasi Goreng Kambing for us to try. Like the first menu, this lamb fried rice hit every right spot! It was fried over high flame, creating a fragrant aroma. The rice grain was also well-separated, so you can surely tell there is some mastery in the kitchen. Taste-wise, the fried rice itself is a flavour bomb! Made with curry powder, it for sure packs some bold aromatic flavours. As the name suggests, this dish comes with a generous amount of spiced lamb. The harmony of the spice mix in the lamb makes it so addictive. Once you start digging in, there is no way back! Who would not love some juicy, tender lamb, right?
We were then given the Apple Asam Boi drink to wash down our palate. It was super refreshing, and it was definitely needed after eating all of those lambs. Predominantly sour and sweet from the apple and a tinge of saltiness from the asam boi, the drink was unexpectedly playful on the taste buds. The flavour mix worked like a charm as we got an extra serving of the party drink!
All in all, the experience at House of Kambing was genuinely exceptional. The food was great, and we also got to eat with a view. A stretching green grazing field in front of the restaurant contains several lambs. As a bonus, they also have a camel sitting around, which is such a crowd grabber from what we witnessed. The outlet is spacious and properly ventilated, which further contributes to the wholesome experience. Service was fast, and most importantly, the restaurant was clean. Trust us; you want to make sure you visit this great eatery!
