Qualification: this review is usually of the sister cafe inside SG PETANI (because it isn't listed on website). It is a fairly new joint. We made a decision to have dinner since i have have consumed at the Alor Superstar cafe abt couple of years ago and has been happywith the menus, ambiance and services. At 8.30pm on a Thursday (weekend begins for Kedah) the area had not been patronised as there have been just 2 tables of 2 pax each. Menus was OK. Atmosphere was OK - clean & properly deco. Restroom had no document towels or hands drier! Didnt like the notion of customers needing to write their very own selection like inside Old Town, so when We commented abt it the waitress wrote our orders + good customer support. Food didnt take lengthy to come (obviously) however the Bruschetta though tasted fine was on white loaf of bread. I believe the cafe shd provide an option for dark brown/ wholemeal or white. Afterwards when I spoke with the waitress she mentioned they only had whitened. The sliced poultry/ cheese/ tomato sandwich utilized processed slices of poultry not slices of 'genuine' chicken piece - which may have tasted far better. The marinated grilled poultry was an extremely small part for RM15.90! The choc chip vanilla blended consume tasted v nice in a slim tall glass. No service charge no GST - yipee! Cafe didn't have toothpicks! Whenever we left at 9.30pm the cafe had zero some other clients on a thursday night!

The place is wonderful and comfy. Don't be fooled by the images in the menus. Looks could be really deceiving right here. It tastes average as well. Staffs are usually unfriendly and mainly cannot communicate in English.

It really is quite dissapointing if they changed the chef which in turn causes the meals preferences differently from what I used to possess. I used to like having their asparagus lotion soup with garlic breads however now..it tasted quite awful. You might shift the chef but dontchanged its flavor or quality. I've stopped going right here since then. I would come again this season to notice if their dinner is okay again.
