The mix of Sambar, pumpkin "perattal" and Chicken "varuval" was great. Small homemade type meals. The price was inexpensive for me.

Among the best house cooked design banana leaf rice you could have within Alor Setar.It's located from the road behind financial institution rakyat. The owner is indeed friendly. this store is relatively little, and the dog owner tries to support anything you ask for. Excellent.Tried their pumpkin and potato perattal, poultry varuval, they are excellent, aromatic and savory. In addition they serve mutton / veg / poultry briyani rice on Saturdays. I'm yet to use on that.The beverages otherwise a touch too sweet.Price is quite reasonable.Parking is easy.I feel this store deserves more reputation. The food is quite comforting and delicious.I'll definitely revisit.

A hidden gem behind an alley. Friendly proprietor and staff with tasty Indian food. Typically we spent RM 8-10 for non veg foods.Been craving for banana leaf rice for a few months. Pleased to find this location.Ample parking space. Will recommend this spot to my relatives and buddies.

Located in a back again alleyway- little humble shop- self services pick whatever u need- go early for a lot more choices, when by 1.00pm & most dishes sold away- parking isn't a problem upon weekends/PH- they offer rasam, herb chillies, popadom- banana leaf option obtainable- about RM8 an individual including drinks

Authentic banana leaf restaurant within the trunk alley behind Rainbow close to KFC/Pizza Hut Limbong Kapal. A whole load of homemade lauk that I needed to use everything. On Saturdays they function biryani. Friendly proprietor and staff, affordable cost too.
