The mix of Sambar, pumpkin "perattal" and Chicken "varuval" was great. Small homemade type meals. The price was inexpensive for me.

Among the best house cooked design banana leaf rice you could have within Alor Setar.It's located from the road behind financial institution rakyat. The owner is indeed friendly. this store is relatively little, and the dog owner tries to support anything you ask for. Excellent.Tried their pumpkin and potato perattal, poultry varuval, they are excellent, aromatic and savory. In addition they serve mutton / veg / poultry briyani rice on Saturdays. I'm yet to use on that.The beverages otherwise a touch too sweet.Price is quite reasonable.Parking is easy.I feel this store deserves more reputation. The food is quite comforting and delicious.I'll definitely revisit.
